In the USA in September sales of new buildings have unexpectedly grown. Sales of new buildings in the USA in September have unexpectedly grown after falling last month to a minimum level for last 17 years. The volume of the realised new buildings has made 464 thousand houses in annual calculation that on 2,7 % above an indicator of the last month, has reported Bloomberg referring to the given Ministries of Trade of the USA. In August, according to the specified data, sales have made 452 thousand houses, instead of 460 thousand as it was informed earlier. Analysts expected indicator decrease last month on 2,2 % with declared before August level - to 450 thousand houses The increase in sales is caused, mainly, by falling of the prices for habitation in the conditions of crisis in the financial markets. The average price of sale of the new house last month has fallen to the USA on 9,1 % in comparison with September, 2007 - to 218,4 thousand dollars, a minimum level since September, 2004. In building sector and "the frozen" credit markets allow to assume growth of number of bankruptcies that crisis in credit sphere will proceed. The federal reserve system (ФРС) the USA which will hold the next session this week, predictably, will make again the decision on decrease in the base interest rate to soften negative consequences of financial crisis for economy.
